Atom Phono is a strong RIAA phono preamp and clean tone control all in one. Its flexible bypass toggles let you use it as an equalizer or a phono preamp, or both, or neither. Selectable 30/40 dB gain delivers far more volume than typical, integrated phono preamps, while maintaining impressively low noise and distortion. Atom Phono provides exactly what you need from a phono preamp and then some. Designed to fit seamlessly into your dedicated vinyl setup, stack with your other Atom line gear, or a mixture of the two.

Tone Controls
Also known as a 2-band EQ, the tone control is a low-noise adaptation of a Baxandall circuit, customized for deeper bass and sparkly treble. You can bypass the EQ as you see fit, and there is no performance impact when using the tone controls with the phono stage.

Dual Gain
Atom Phono provides selectable 30 dB or 40 dB gain. At 40 dB, a 15 mV moving magnetic cartridge will be amplified to over 1.5VRMS. That's about 4x stronger than an average phono preamp!

Subsonic Filter
An NJM5532 based subsonic filter helps prevent low-frequency turntable noises from being amplified and sent to your headphones or speakers, thus improving audio clarity and preventing unwanted, low-frequency speaker movement.

Low Noise
Atom Phono achieves remarkably low noise as a phono preamp, even at high gain.
