Crafted with a solid hard maple wood housing, the TH1100RP features the traditional Aizome dyeing technique from Tokushima, Japan. This process involves skilled artisans hand-dyeing the wood with Awa Aizome, an indigo dye known for its rich and luxurious appearance. The result is a deep indigo colour that highlights the unique grain of each piece of maple wood, making every headphone set unique.

The RP planar magnetic driver technology used in the TH1100RP has been refined since its development in 1974. The newly developed planar diaphragm is larger than those in previous models, and the redesigned magnetic circuit optimizes magnetic flux distribution.
