The HDA-5210 MK4 is the latest in high-performance headphone amplifiers, featuring the newly developed MK4 circuit, an upgrade from the HDA-5210 MK3, to deliver superior sound quality.

With a thicker, more detailed, and realistic sound than its predecessor, the MK4 also powers up faster and includes a high-impedance current output for improved precision and reduced distortion. Unlike voltage-driven outputs, driving headphones with current smooths frequency response variations, revealing a depth of detail that is otherwise masked.

The HDA-5210 MK4 includes a SATRI-LINK current input for compatibility with the company’s preamps and DACs, along with a single voltage input for use with third-party equipment. Its 23-step attenuator adjusts gain continuously up to 20dB, maintaining signal-to-noise quality even at lower volumes. The voltage output is ideal for headphones with up to 100Ω impedance, while the high-impedance current output ensures low distortion and accommodates a broad range of headphones by responding to individual impedance curves. Users can adjust current gain to best suit their headphones, and both current and voltage outputs can be used simultaneously, enabling the sound to adapt to the unique characteristics of each connected headphone.
