Built-in ESS SABRE HIFI DAC
MX5 built-in ESS SABRE HIFI DAC, with XMOS XU208 & Qualcomm QCC3031, bring excellent performance to the MX5 with USB, optical fiber, coaxial, Bluetooth input. This allows the MX5 to easily access a variety of audio sources including computers, set-top boxes, CD players, mobile phones, tablets etc.

TRS Balanced & Single-ended RCA inputs
In addition to supporting various digital inputs, MX5 also supports fully balanced TRS and single-ended RCA analogue inputs.

All inputs supports Auto On/Off
MX5 supports Auto On/Off function in all inputs. When a valid signal is detected, it will be turned on immediately. When the valid signal is lost, it will automatically shut down (Turn to standby mode) within a specific time.

For analogue signals of different strengths, MX5 provides three options of sensitivity to ensure that the signal can be accurately detected.
Note: The digital signal detection is turned on by default. When the digital input signal is invalid the automatic shutdown waiting time is 1 minute. The analogue signal detection is turned off by default. When this function is turned on, the automatic shutdown waiting time is 10 minutes.

Merus Class D Amplifier
With the help of Infineon Merus Class D amplifier, MX5 can output 70W x2 under 4 Ohms load 10% distortion, 55W x2 under 4 ohm load 1% distortion. Under 8 Ohm load, 10% distortion can output 42W x2, and 1% distortion can output 35W x2, which can meet daily use.

NFCA Headphone Amplifier
The MX5 has the NFCA circuit optimised for this unit, giving ultra low noise and distortion. It pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power hungry high impedance headphones nicely. The built-in headphone amplifier allows you to enjoy music by yourself without disturbing others.

Built-in EQ function, now you can adjust treble and bass
MX5 supports users to adjust the treble and bass. The treble and bass provides adjustable ranges from -10dB to +10dB respectively.

2 step gain settings for both power & headphone amplifiers
In order to adapt to input signals with different strengths, MX5 provides two step gain settings for both power and headphone amplifiers. The gain can be set on the remote control.

Custom setting memory
MX5 provides two custom setting memories, C1 and C2. Long press can memorise the current input selection, output selection, volume setting, bass setting, treble setting, and gain setting. And short press to call out in subsequent applications. It greatly facilitates your use.

User interface
MX5's screen can be set to automatically close and only display the current input without any operation for 30 seconds. MX5 can set to display the volume in percentage or in dB.
